After years of construction, this discipline has formed its own advantages and characteristics in the research directions of agricultural economy and management, rural social development and management, resources and regional economic development, agricultural industrialization and modernization, agricultural trade and logistics.

Full-time postgraduate training methods and methods
(1) Implement a dual tutor system. Full-time professional master's degree students adopt a combination of on-campus course learning and off-campus practice. Pay attention to the combination of course learning and practical research. The training unit should establish an off-campus practice base for full-time agricultural master's degree graduates according to the training needs, and encourage the use of top-post practice to conduct practical research. Among them, the practical research should not be less than 6 months.
(2) The supervisor responsibility system shall be implemented for dissertation guidance. Mainly on-campus tutors, and external tutors are hired to participate in the guidance of the practice process, project research and other links. External tutors should generally have rich practical experience and have senior technical titles.

6. Graduation and Conferment of Degrees
Those who have completed the course learning and training, obtained the required credits, and passed the dissertation defense will be awarded a master's degree in agriculture and a master's degree certificate after being reviewed by the degree evaluation committee of the degree-awarding unit and publicized for 5 working days without objection. Those who meet the graduation requirements but fail to meet the requirements for the conferment of degrees will be allowed to graduate and obtain a graduation certificate.
