Use 10 th Schedule ( -laws 225,237 ) to establish fire extinguishment requirements.

After 5 above, establish maximum travel distances allowable under the 7th Schedule.

Using Schematic plan arcås & purpose grouping, calculate the Occupant Load and capaciry of exits to ensure adequacy. Check sufficiency minus one staircase. (By'-law's ).

Check placement of cxits using maximum permissible distances (B)-law ).

Check need for ventilation, smoke lobby' or pressurisation of staircases. (By'-laws 196, 197, 198, 199, 200, 201).

Locate Fire Fighting Appliances. (Dry riser, wet riser, hose reel, alarms, breeching inlets, tanks, pumps, gensets, etc). Locate Control Panel/Room.
找到消防设备。 （干立管、湿立管、软管卷盘、警报器、扩口、水箱、泵、发电机组等）。找到控制面板/房间。

If multiple lift cores are used, check Fire Lifts and fire fighting access lobbíes. (By-law . Check distance between cores: ( max.)

Check internal & external finishes to comply with the 8th Schedule (Restriction of Spread of Flames over surface of wall and ceilings).
